Temple to sponsor GB Karate team competing in US tournament

Temple QMS is delighted to be a sponsor for Team FSK, supporting Shihan Dave Treadwell on the journey to success. Dave is also an expert Quality Manager and client of Temple QMS.  

Furi Sutairu Shotokan Karate (FSK) Redditch athletes and teacher Shihan Dave Treadwell will compete on the world stage following a strong performance at a national event in Norwich.

Team FSK took a squad of talented athletes to Norfolk with all students cementing their places in the Great Britain squad.

GB Coach, Sensei Treadwell said: “We look forward to training with the rest of the elite GB athletes over the next 12 months and take part in the World Martial Arts Games in the USA in August 2023.

“I knew deep down if they competed how they train week in week out, and believed in their own ability regardless of what was in front of them, they would succeed.

“Each time they step on the mat they not only make the club proud, they grow in confidence and it shows in the results and performances.

“And that is not only by myself as their Shihan, it is seen in the comments made by other clubs and instructors from up and down the country.”
