CILT(UK) Level 3 Practitioners Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain & Operations Management

Course Overview
The CILT(UK) Level 3 Practitioners Certificate is a general certificate for those working across the supply chain and has been mapped to the CILT(UK) Competency Framework. It focuses on recognising the impact of organisational goals and available resources on the required outputs and deliverables within the context of logistics, supply chain and operations management.
Qualification Structure
To achieve the certificate, Learners are required to successfully complete TWO mandatory units and ONE optional unit:
Business Operations Along the Supply Chain
Introduces supply chain concepts and the interconnectivities of activity along global supply chains and positions them within the business operating environment.
Cross-functional Interconnectivity
Focusses on the interactions of supply chain elements. Particular attention is given to inventory management processes, as well as the importance of defining and managing data and information along the supply chain.
Production Operations Management
Considers the main focus of Operations Managers within a manufacturing environment. It looks to clarify the planning functions that support production, and the shop floor controls in place to facilitate the production process.
Logistics and Supply Chain Operations
Explores the physical operations that occur along the supply chain, inclusive of physical inventory management, the handling and storage functions of the inventory within a warehouse and Distribution Centre.

What You Will Learn
Three units completed over 12 to 14 months. Two mandatory units covering the core supply chain and operations framework, plus one optional unit chosen around your role and area of focus.
