About Peter Lee

Peter is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology and Practitioner member of the Chartered Quality Institute with 45 years’ experience working in manufacturing having graduated from Lanchester Polytechnic (Coventry University) in 1979 and gained a PGC in the Design of Mechatronic Products from Loughborough University in 2004.

My background is firmly in UK manufacturing providing production support, NPI, process design/development and Operations Management working with technologies ranging from
advanced machine shops to microelectronic assembly and industries ranging from aerospace, defence to consumer electronics working for companies such as GEC, Plessey,
Renishaw and Psion Dacom.

From 2001 to 2020 Peter was Head of Production Operations for Foster & Freeman Ltd, a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced forensic science equipment, typically
exporting to over 100 countries annually. In 2020 Peter took on a new role of Head of Quality which involved creating a new department to cover SHEQ, software validation and global product compliance.
